The Colosseum has three main entrances:
- Ingresso Gladiatori: This is the main entrance to the Colosseum, located on the north side of the monument. It is the most convenient entrance for visitors who are arriving by public transportation.
- Ingresso Farnese: This entrance is located on the west side of the Colosseum, near the Piazza del Colosseo. It is a good option for visitors who are arriving by car or on foot.
- Ingresso Celio: This entrance is located on the south side of the Colosseum, near the Colle Oppio park. It is a good option for visitors who are exploring the Roman Forum.
